Lion cub on the lookout!

Such a beautiful young animal, and what a pose!


This is always a difficult edit regarding composition, as the lion’s body is pointing to the right, and his head is pointing to the left.

With this one, I could have put him right in the middle, but I liked the Acacia tree in the background. We had late afternoon light and these lions were facing in both directions, so we could circle around them and click to our hearts content.

I found this tour to be pretty amazing as every corner has a new adventure!
