Raymond's Tiger Prints : Recent Images
Incoming Mallard.
Maria and I were out shooting these ducks, along with some trumpeter swan last week, we picked a nice sunny day so with could have the best possible shooting conditions.
With the birds flying across the ice, so they had natural light from above and below as there is good reflection of light from the white ice.
With f8, we have great depth of field, at 1/4000 of a second shutter speed freezing the motion nicely. ISO 640 so minimal noise, and it was easily cleaned up.
The cool thing about this shoot? I took 327 images of birds in flight at this location, with an amazing 99% of tack sharp images. My Sony A7r4 + the 200-600OSS lens is a superb pairing of photo gear, and I am thrilled with the Gitzo Fluid gimbal head, and the Systematic tripod are brilliant assets to my photography kit.
Thanks for looking!
