It seems crazy!
After hosting 4 tours to Tanzania, Africa, I finally have edited my first image of this beautiful species, the Superb Starling.
They are everywhere! Easily the most common bird we see on these tours. But! Try to get a good shot!? Using the Swarovski Spotting Scope, and the Canon 70D with an effective focal length of 1200mm @ f11.5 - I finally was able to get a clean shot.
Such an amazing bird, with the iridescent feathers, it shines! and can be seen from a great distance. My problem? It is a ground bird, so shooting from a safari truck down onto a bird on the dirt doesn't work for me.. I guess I am fussy.
My tour to India is leaving in 2 months! Join us? Bengal Tigers!!
