Raymond's Tiger Prints : Recent Images
Swallow-tailed kite
We headed west early this am, to seek out this beauty in the farm country of Southwestern Ontario. About an hour wait before it showed up, and the imaging began.
During its flights, and hunting process, it kept a fair distance from us, also covering a lot of acreage during the flight plan.
So, we had fun keeping up with it, and trying to get mostly flight shots. We did see it perch a few times, eating and preening, but the excitement was in the air.
We had tough light and mostly white backgrounds left me with high key images. Exposures were not easy! I think I was a little careless with the ISO, as I am sure a 640 setting would have been fine,
All my images will be heavy crops, and tough recoveries.
Another day in paradise, loving real nature.
