Thanks to Jobu Products for an awesome support kit. One of the main reasons this image is so freakin sharp! I have 2 full kits (used) for sale if anyone is interested.

This beauty was the third chick of the family, who was kicked out or fell out of the nest before I started visiting this location.

We would often see it about 80-100 yards away, but it was usually hidden in deep cover, too much for a good image.

On this day, some crows chased it off its perch as the owl ended up on this stump, which was quite a ways below our vantage point. It never stopped looking at us, and seemed to enjoy the attention!

We had some great fun with real and true Nature.

Thanks for looking!

I am planning and preparing a return to India in June, with anther 8 days plus of viewing and photographing these superb Tigers, so I have been reviewing folders of images from previous trips, trying to find a 'missed" image.

This is Tigress Noor, she has been busy raising several cubs for years now, doing it very successfully. Adding to the population of wild tigers in India is the key to this animal’s survival. With the government reducing the number of poaching incidents, there seems to be some new hope.

What caught my eye about this shot was the intense stare she gave me while having a cool down in this pond, and a drink.
