Not quite a full moon!
Still worth a couple of shots on a clear evening.
200 - 600 mm Sony + 1.4 teleconverter, and the APS-S Sensor, so 1260 mm equivalent. And still quite a bit of cropping added.
I used the Manual focus, 5.9x through the viewfinder with the mirrorless camera. Fine-tuning the focus takes a lot of concentration, then getting the exposure correct is pretty much trial and error. I usually take at least 12 images before I am confident I have a good shot.
Also, f13 helps, and a decent shutter speed due to the movement is critical. 250 ISO for this shot, so minimal noise.
Hopefully, I will catch a moon rise later this week, if the weather is clear.
Take good care.
