A mating pair of lions, on a schedule of about every 12 minutes, would lay and rest in between attempts... He would usually stand watch while she would pass out, and catch some sleep.
They do not hunt or eat during this time of their cycle, as they put full concentration into their procreation efforts.
Some time around June 1st would be superb to see the tiny cubs jumping around on their parents. Wish I was there!
Thanks to my guests, and thanks for looking!
